A Philips Researcher since 1990, Benno has worked on Monte Carlo simulation of the electron transport in flat-panel displays based on electron hop transport, on light path optics design and manufacturing for Blu-ray Disc development

Mark Johnson

Mark is with Philips Research since 1986. He started working as a materials specialist in the magnetism research group, where he first developed improved magnetic oxides (ferrites) for video recording heads and high-frequency power supplies and subsequently investigated magnetic multilayers for application in magneto-resistive sensors and in rewritable (magneto-)optical recording media.

Mareike Klee

Mareike Klee studied chemistry and received her PhD in the area of single crystal growth and X-ray diffraction analysis from the Technical University Darmstadt. In 1984 she joined Philips Research Aachen and has been with Philips Research Eindhoven since 2004.

Tom joined Philips Research in 1987. Initially he worked on holography for aberration-free imaging and on a model for the optical properties of coatings on display devices. He then contributed to the optics of wafer-stepper alignment.

Cees started working with Philips Research since 1986. He is a materials scientist with wide ranging experience in luminescent materials based on a solid theoretical background. He has made important contributions to the development of improved and novel luminescent materials for lamps, LEDs and solar cells, displays and medical applications.

Dr. Anja van de Stolpe is Medical Scientific Advisor and Research Fellow (Senior Director level) at Philips Research. She is by background a registered clinical internist specialized in hematology with 10 years of experience in clinical internal medicine and hemato-oncology / blood coagulation in academic and peripheral hospital settings.

Jürgen is a physicist and is with Philips Research since 1994. He has been working in the area of medical imaging, computer assisted diagnosis and image guided therapy, and made numerous important contributions. In particular, he introduced a software technology for the automatic generation of personalized heart and organ models from medical images that is a key component of an increasing number of innovative products.
