How to prepare for your job application

How to prepare

If you’re interested in working for us, it’s worth preparing properly for each stage of your job application. This will help you to sell yourself and to ensure that you make best use of both your own time and ours. So take a few moments to look at the tips we’re offering via the links on this page.

Each company has its own preferences in terms of how applications — and candidates — are presented, and Philips is no different. For example, we like resumés to consist of no more than 2 pages, and we want to get a good picture of your capabilities and ambitions. If you don’t tell us about them, we won’t know.

Even if you don’t find the perfect job this time round, we’ll keep your resumé for further reference for a year or two in case a more suitable role comes up. So make sure your application mentions the kind of areas you could be interested in both now and in the near future.
