As a successful gateway candidate you will get one-on-one coaching from our top HR executives, putting you in a leading position to drive Philips’ business from innovation to commercial success.
Philips’ Human Resources Leadership Gateway is an application process that culminates in a 1½-day assessment during which you will get the opportunity to learn a great deal more about our company through presentations and interaction with our Sector CHROs and senior management team members. Tackling realistic business cases, you will be aiming to impress the senior managers evaluating your performance.

| | Once you have been accepted, you will be placed in a highly responsible HR position in one of our sectors. After two to three years, you will move up the ladder to even more rewarding international positions in HR.

| | You have a thorough understanding of global business environments and an in-depth knowledge of what drives business’ revenue. You can translate this into effective HR strategies. You can identify new opportunities to grow people and business, and you embrace these opportunities with the enthusiasm needed to drive them forward to success. In addition to a Masters Degree qualification, you will need at least eight years of working experience of which at least four years in HR. It is essential that your experience includes HR business partner roles in operational as well as strategic HRM in multinational environments. You have had active involvement in managing people and projects. Ideally, your career has taken you to different parts of the world and made you multilingual (English being one language that you are fluent in).
It’s important that you demonstrate success in one or more of the following areas:

Design, completion and implementation of effective HR strategies and plans;

Identification and implementation of new initiatives to create added value to the business;

Completion of organizational change process such as company reorganization, organizational development, company take-over and restructuring processes;

Planning and achievement of increases in organizational capabilities.
