Philips Medical Capital – Europe, Wuppertal, Germany

Philips Medical Capital - Europe is a venture between Philips Medical Systems and Société Générale Equipment Finance to provide financing to Philips customers in nine major European countries for the purchase of the full range of diagnostic imaging equipment produced by Philips Healthcare.

Philips Medical Capital - USA, Wayne, Pennsylvania, USA

Philips Medical Capital was set up by Philips Medical Systems and Rabobank Group's subsidiary De Lage Landen International to provide financing to Philips customers for the purchase of the full range of Philips Medical Healthcares' diagnostic imaging equipment.

Neusoft Group Ltd

Philips and Neusoft Medical Systems Co. Ltd. jointly develop and manufacture computed tomography (CT), MR, Ultrasound and x-ray equipment, based on Neusoft Digital Medical Systems previous production capabilities and product designs from both houses. Philips holds a 51% stake in the joint venture.

NXP Semiconductors

On September 29, 2006, Philips completed the sale of 80.1% of its Semiconductors business to a consortium of private equity partners, founding the newly independent semiconductors company NXP. Philips retains a 19.9% stake in NXP.

Toppoly

Toppoly has state-of-the-art production facilities with substantial production capacity in Taiwan and China for advanced mobile display technologies, such as Low Temperature Poly Silicon (LTPS) and active matrix organic light emitting diodes (AMOLED). Philips holds a 17.4% stake in Toppoly.

TPV Technology Limited

In September 2005, Philips sold part of its monitor and entry-level flat screen TV business to TPV Technology. The combination of Philips and TPV Technology Limited has created a competitive partnership in PC monitor and entry level Flat TV segments. Currently, Philips holds a 12.44% stake in TPV.

TCL Corporation

In 2005, Philips purchased TCL's shares as a strategic investment in one of China’s biggest television and mobile phone manufacturers. Philips holds a 6.3% stake in TCL.
