Chief HR Officer and Member of the Executive Committee Corporate responsibilities: Human Resources Mrs. Wainaina (Kenyan, 1966) joins Philips from The Coca-Cola Company, where she is currently based in London and responsible for Human Resources in Europe. Carole Wainaina started her career at Price Waterhouse in Kenya in 1989 as a consultant after which she joined the Kenya Wildlife Service. Carole joined the Coca-Cola Company in 1998 and has worked for that company in Africa, Eurasia, Europe and the United States in various roles. Her main attention point during her years at Coca Cola has always been on human resources; from leading talent programs to reorganizations, to Corporate Responsibility. She was Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant to Coca-Cola’s former Chairman and CEO in Atlanta between June 2007 and December 2008. Her latest job at Coca Cola was in the role of Human Resources Director for Europe. |
