Pre-Development Engineer

Your challenge

Using your technological know-how and creativity as a pre- development engineer to develop innovative new functions, processes or product concepts on which new product families can be based, contributing to your own growth and the growth of Philips by ensuring that Philips Consumer Lifestyle continues to deliver superb end-user experiences.

Your role

-  Developing new technologies, functions and products, or optimizing existing ones, based on identified consumer needs
-  Assessing the feasibility of proposed applications and solutions
-  Providing input to the creation of roadmaps for future technology development and product platforms
-  Maintaining contact with internal and external partners
-  Participating and/or leading cross-functional teams as a key-competence technology development resource

 

Naturally, you are an analytical creative thinker who is open-minded and communicative. Preferably, you already have two or more years experience as a Pre- Development Engineer working in Europe or the USA and you are fully conversant with structured design processes and methodologies such as modeling and tolerance design.
