Towards a sustainable future

For almost twenty years, sustainable development has been a pivotal factor in the Philips Design approach. In-depth research into social and environmental contexts means our solutions are genuinely relevant for specific local lifestyles and customs.

Philanthropy by Design

Since 2005, we have been working on developing humanitarian propositions that address social and environmental issues affecting the more fragile categories of our societies. Together with unconventional partners, such as Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), public bodies and social players with complementary expertise and values, we are working on solutions to improve the health and environment of the world’s developing societies.
