Amsterdam, The Netherlands – Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA), a global leader in health technology, today announces the launch of its new Philips Avent Natural Care Hands-free Wearable Electric Breast Pump. Based on 40-plus years of research into breastfeeding physiology, the brand’s first fully wearable breast pump frees up mom’s hands while she’s pumping, making it easier to fit pumping into her day while playing with baby, working on her laptop, going for a walk or simply resting. Unlike other fully wearable pumps, it’s also comfortable to use and has all the power of a hospital-strength pump, so moms can finally reclaim their time without compromise. The pump also empowers those around mom to step in and feed baby, creating space for moms to spend much-needed time on themselves. Discreet, lightweight and worn in the bra, the pump mimics baby’s natural drinking rhythm for effective* pumping. It uses the same technology as the Philips Avent Hands-free Electric Breast Pump, now in fully wearable form.

The Philips Avent Natural Care Wearable Breast Pump is different. It’s unique SkinSense silicone shields softly shape around the breast, using mom’s natural body warmth for a comfortable grip. And because every mom’s body is unique, moms can choose from six shield inserts (1 shield and 5 inserts) that fit 99% of moms†. They help secure the nipple properly while pumping, so moms don’t have to continually look down to check the shields are snug against their breasts.
Confidence in every pump, day and night
For added peace of mind, the pump’s milk-collection cups are fully transparent, giving moms a good view of their placement on their nipple and milk at all times. They also have an inner light, so mom can see her milk even when she’s pumping at night.
