Philips 3100 series- One touch espresso and cappuccino exactly your way

Berlin, Germany – At this year’s Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) in Berlin, Germany, Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA) showcases new products and services that empower consumers to take an active role in managing their health and well-being to get the most out of life.

Discover a revolution in the art of coffee. Crafted in exquisite detail by Saeco, the inventor of the super-automatic espresso machine, the new Xelsis brews quality coffee, just like a barista. Every cup you prepare is fully customizable thanks to this innovative machine, which combines superior technology with beautiful design. Meaning every coffee connoisseur can enjoy a moment of pure indulgence in the comfort of their own home.

We at Philips, the number one coffee appliances brand in Europe¹, are introducing the new 3100 Series. With a greater choice of drinks at the touch of a button, and easier maintenance thanks to its AquaClean filter – it’s ideal if you (and your family) enjoy a variety of drinks at different moments throughout the day.

Whether your preference is an espresso, a coffee or a cappuccino, you can enjoy your favorite drink made using fresh beans and milk.

A variety of Coffees customized to your taste

Thanks to the new 3100 Series you can take pleasure in six different drinks, including the most popular milk beverages, such as cappuccino and latte macchiato. This super-automatic machine also allows you to personalize your cup of coffee. The new 3100 Series features a range of options you can select to customize the length, strength and temperature of each drink; it will then memorize your selection for future use.

Enjoy your coffee every day, with no hassle

The maintenance and cleaning processes that keep your coffee machine clean can often be tiresome, but with the patented AquaClean filter they are easier as it removes the build-up of lime scale. By changing the filter when the machine indicates, you won’t need to descale your machine for up to 5000 cups². As an added benefit, the descaling notification alarm is automatically deactivated once the AquaClean filter is installed in your coffee machine.

With the AquaClean filter you also get the advantage of clear and purified water, for an authentic coffee taste. The filtering process is significantly improved by two elements. On the one hand, the ion exchange technology removes the calcium-ions responsible for calcification in the machine. On the other hand, a micro-porous filter removes any impurities. Ensuring you can make the most out of your full automatic coffee machine, with no hassle.
