Intellectual property counsel (entrepreneurial)
In this role you develop and realize new intellectual property value-capturing opportunities, initiate investigative studies to identify IP business opportunities, and define and execute business plan. You realize the potential value of new business cases, including negotiations with third parties.
You will support business sector projects, provide IP legal and pro-active (upfront) IP legal counsel.
Draft necessary rules and templates, integrating IP contract approval flows, participate in negotiations with third parties and provide general IP legal advice and training. Interact with courts, state authorities, prepare claims, requests, replies to requests and other IP legal documents.
You will have the technical, negotiating and legal skills to turn intellectual property into assets that support our growth, profitability and competitiveness. With the ability to think ‘out-of-the-box’, you will create new business models and opportunities to exploit intellectual property rights.
You will be a strategic leader in standardization, including actively steering standardization projects, within a business strategy that you will help to define, advise on IP clauses in standardization contracts and create valuations and business plans that support standards-related business decisions. Lobby and maintain contacts with other companies, establish new relationships and lead teams in external standardization efforts.
