Philips eICU is a scalable, centralized solution that extends critical care resources to the bedside via technology, independent of the health facility’s location. This centralized (hub and spoke) model puts an intensivist-led team in a central monitoring facility where they can be responsible for 50–500 remote ICU beds. At the core is Philips eCareManager software which consolidates data from multiple sources across the hospital network, is vendor agnostic to the source of the data, provides actionable insights for enhanced clinical decision support and care coordination and predicts those in imminent need of pro-active intervention thanks to AI-assisted clinical algorithms.

Having a centralized clinical command center provides the ability to consolidate and standardize care, reduce transfers while maximizing bed utilization, and support onsite staff. This reduces costs while enhancing revenues, patient flow and capacity management across the system.

Discover how Baptist Health South Florida is using Philips eICU solution. Since the implementation of the Philips eICU program, Baptist Health has reduced mortality in the ICU by 23% and reduced patient length to stay by up to 25%.
