As a brand licensee, you will enjoy the advantages of using the Philips’s brand, as well as access to our innovation experience and go-to-market knowhow. This includes consumer insight validation, cross-category research and distribution opportunities. We also hold regular joint business reviews, where we share business learnings, and develop forward thinking strategies to grow your business.We also works with brand licensees to approve products, improve consumer care and deliver marketing strategies, all to the world-class Philips’ standard.

Becoming a Philips brand licensee starts with pledging your commitment to our brand promise.  We only consider partners who can explain how their offer will enhance the value the Philips brand; and how our brand benefits them.


As well as product development, you must be able to demonstrate competency in customer care, marketing and distribution.


Brand licensing arrangements typically require a licensing initiation fee, minimum royalty commitment, approved business plan, agreed-upon business metrics, customary insurance and indemnification provisions.


Brand license management meetings will be conducted during joint business reviews, and on an ongoing basis.
