LOTUS is a conceptual exploration of a next-generation Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Featuring a next-generation clinical informatics platform, LOTUS monitors and collects information across all devices and systems into one easy to use interface. This provides a holistic view of the baby’s status, helping clinicians make critical decisions and coordinate care between teams.

The concept is coupled with an adaptive healing environment that can transform from supporting the baby’s development, to providing a soothing and calming environment for families, as well as addressing workflow and care delivery needs of clinicians.
