Philips' Global Head of Sustainability Robert Metzke speaks at the Webit Thought Leadership Summit

Philips' Global Head of Sustainability will participate in a keynote fireside chat Tuesday 7 July at the Thought Leadership Summit of Webit on the topic of Business response to Covid-19: Corporate Responsibility and Innovation.

Within the Corporate responsibility and Sustainability Week, Robert will take part in a panel discussion in the online program with Dr. Plamen Russev, Executive Chairman Webit Foundation, Mariam Al-Foudery, Group Chief Marketing Officer of Agility Logistics and John Aidan Byrne, Journalist at the New York Post and Podcast Host of Life on Planet Earth. 

Robert will discuss the role and focus of sustainability within Philips, and what has been the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on its strategy and targets. He will share insights on Philips’ response during the COVID-19 pandemic, and elaborate on the interconnection between social, economic and environmental challenges, bringing concrete examples of how intertwined healthcare and climate change risks are.
