Brand licensing


The Philips brand is also used by external parties – in fields such as lighting, television, audio and domestic appliances – on the basis of a fixed-term licensing agreement, for instance following a divestment process. Licensees comply with stringent quality standards to ensure the value of the Philips brand is maintained.
