On Thursday, January 8, 2026, Royal Philips confirms that it has completed the sale of its Emergency Care business to Bridgefield Capital, in line with the timeline previously communicated. No separate press release was issued at signing. Following completion, the Emergency Care business has transitioned to a newly formed, independent company. Bridgefield Capital and Heartstream will provide updates in the coming days and weeks on this exciting new phase for the business. The divestiture supports Philips’ strategy to sharpen its focus on areas where it can achieve greater scale and long-term value creation, while enabling the Emergency Care business to benefit from dedicated ownership and investment. Philips and Bridgefield Capital worked closely throughout 2025 to ensure a smooth transition of people, operations, and technology. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
