Frans van Houten discusses how to do business responsibly and sustainably

Estimated reading time: 1-2 minutes

In an interview with global asset manager AXA Investment Managers (IM), Philips CEO Frans van Houten discusses the company’s ambitious environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) commitments. These key commitments - which include ramping up its circular economy revenues from 15% to 25% of sales in 2025 and disclosing tax contributions for all countries in which Philips operates - are part of an integrated new framework that guides execution of Philips’ strategy as a purpose-driven company.

The interview is part of a series on the CEO Sustainability Agenda, in which AXA IM sheds light on best practices and challenges for CEOs in the integration of ESG in their strategic decision making process. The interview was moderated by Hanneke Veringa, country manager AXA IM the Netherlands.
