Philips is organizing a global media event – Philips Pulse Connect – focused on AI and innovation in healthcare.
This event will bring leading international media together to experience how AI-driven healthcare solutions are already transforming patient care today - not as future concepts, but as real, deployed technologies in clinical practice.

Philips Pulse Connect is built around AI and innovation in healthcare. It also coincides with the launch of the Future Health Index 2026 - Philips' 11th annual global report, the largest survey of its kind. This year's edition looks past AI's promise to measure its real, present-day impact on care.
The headline? AI is already delivering measurable results in healthcare - but systems risk falling behind on the training and integration needed to scale it.
Clinicians say AI saves them time every week. Close to half (46%) reported time savings of at least 132 hours annually on average, or more than three full working weeks handed back to patient care.
Additional patients seen per week by clinicians who report increased capacity (global median; up to 30 in China).
Say AI has helped identify or prevent a potential medical error at least three times in the past three months.
Say AI training is inadequate, inconsistent or unavailable at their organization.
The Future Health Index draws on insights from 2,000+ healthcare professionals and 20,000+ patients across 10 countries (Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, the UK and the US. We’re happy to share the full FHI report, supporting data, and launch materials ahead of Philips Pulse Connect. Please contact the Philips media team if you would like embargoed access.

One of the technologies featured during Philips Pulse Connect is DeviceGuide, Philips’ AI-powered image-guided therapy and device-tracking solution.
Designed for minimally invasive heart valve repair procedures, DeviceGuide translates complex imaging data into real-time visual guidance, helping clinicians navigate the beating heart with greater clarity, confidence and procedural efficiency.
Introduced in November 2025, the technology is still in its early stages of clinical adoption and is now being used to actively assist physicians during live procedures.

Attendees will observe Dr. Swaans and Dr. Timmers, the first clinicians globally to perform this procedure using the technology. Currently, only a small number of hospitals worldwide are able to carry out this technique.
This will also be the first occasion on which media can observe Philips AI solution that provides real-time guidance during complex minimally invasive heart valve repair procedure.
A detailed DeviceGuide fact sheet is available.
