Heidi Sichien
Heidi Sichien is the Chief People Officer at Philips, leading the Human Resources function, and a member of the Royal Philips Executive Committee.
Heidi joined Philips in 2006 as the HR Director for the then Philips Lighting Lamps and LED. She held a variety of HR roles across many parts of the company before taking overall HR responsibility for all businesses in 2021 and then for the International Region in 2022.
As a seasoned HR leader with a deep understanding of the Philips business strategy and operations, Heidi develops HR strategies that support and drive business goals. She has led change and transformation initiatives, built talent pipelines, and successfully led the acquisition and integration of several companies to support business growth.
People are at the heart of every successful organization, and I firmly believe that investing in their development, well-being and engagement is key to driving business success and growth, and to creating the best place to work.
With a passion for people, her focus is to further strengthen the Philips workforce and to nurture a culture that fosters collaboration and inclusivity and powers patient- and people-centric innovation.
Heidi was born in Belgium and holds a master’s in business engineering from the University of Antwerp. She lives with her husband and three children and loves to travel, walk and play outdoor sports.
