Previously, Rob led Philips’ Diagnosis and Treatment business cluster, which combined the power of precision diagnosis with image guided minimally invasive treatment and therapy. Most recently, Rob led the formation of the Precision Diagnosis business cluster, which focuses on bringing together those businesses related to the future promise of precision medicine and disease pathway selection, including smart systems, informatics, solutions and services.
Prior to joining Philips in 2015, Rob was president and later CEO at Hologic, a global leader in women’s health. Under his tenure, Hologic broadly diversified its product portfolio and substantially grew revenues through a combination of innovative product development and acquisition, as well as the building of strong customer relationships.

Rob was named executive vice president of Royal Philips and appointed to the Philips Executive Committee in 2016. He and his wife live in Florida and are the parents of four children.
